On wednesday (tomorrow) people are being deported to Iraq where they will face persecution for their faith. please act and pray!!

Dear Sirs,

I am writing to you concerning events about to happen on the 15th of December in Sweden. After a short break the Swedish Migration Board has decided to start mass deporting refugees back to Iraq. Iraq is currently not a very safe place and you (The UN Refugee Agency) have recommended countries not to deport people by force to Iraqi cities Baghdad, Mosul and Kirkuk.

Ever worse is that refugees have appealed to the European Court of Human Rights for inhibition and risk being deported while waiting for their appeal to be dealt with. The Swedish network "Ingen människa är illegal" (no human is illeagal) demand in a press release together with Asylgruppen Lund (Asylum group Lund) and Irakiska Asylkommittén (Iraqi Asylkum Committee) that all deportations to Iraq are stopped until the European Court of Human Rights has finished investigating how safe Iraq is.

The press release also tells that among the people being deported there is an Iraqi man leaving behind his girlfriend who is a Swedish citizen, with a five month old son, and Iraqi man leaving behind his wife, also a Swedish citizen, eight months pregnant and also another Iraqi man leaving behind his pregnant wife who has a permanent residence permit in Sweden.

After terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq earlier making a statement saying "All Christian centres, organisations and institutions, leaders and followers, are legitimate targets for the mujahedeen (holy warriors) wherever they can reach them," and attacking a church in Baghdad taking more than 100 people hostage, ending with 58 people dead, Iraq is not safe in any way for Christians to return to. Still they are being deported! The Swedish newspaper Dagen reports that there will be Christians among the people being deported on the 15th.


Please! If there is anything                                      can do, please help!! Please put pressure on the Swedish Migration Board and the Minister for Migration, Tobias Billström, but also on other European countries deporting (especially Christians and people being persecuted) people back to Iraq! Please, if you know what to do, please help! Time is running out!!

Jag vill vädja till dig att stoppa utvisningar och kristna iraker till Irak. Enligt artikel 18 i FNs konvention om mänskliga rättigheter har människan rätt till religionsfrihet. Att i nuläget utvisa kristna till Irak är att beröva dem deras frihet till detta då de med stor sannolikhet kommer att bli förföljda för sin tro och leva under ett ständigt dödshot sedan Al-Quaida utlyst att alla kristna i Irak är potentiella måltavlor.

Jag vädjar till dig att stå upp för det mänskliga värdet och de mänskliga rättiheterna och att inte skicka människor in i ett klimat där de kommer bli förföljda och dödade.
